About The Clash

A real argument, not a highlight reel.

The premise

Faith in the ring
with culture

The Clash puts a Christian worldview in the ring with the questions people are genuinely wrestling over — culture, sport, faith, and the places they collide. No dodging the hard part, no pretending the other side isn't there.

It's made for anyone who wants their faith tested against the real world rather than protected from it — and for anyone curious what a serious Christian answer actually sounds like.

The hosts

Two very different routes to the same ring.

Jeff Dixon

Cohost

Jeff Dixon

Transformational Architect, The Church @ 434

Jeff has spent decades looking for ways to connect ancient biblical truth to the culture people actually live in, working out of a thriving ministry in Central Florida. His interest is practical: what does spiritual growth look like for a real person, right now.

Away from the pulpit he is a storyteller. He is the bestselling author of the Dixon on Disney series, novels that thread historical fact, hidden mystery and questions of faith into stories that have found an audience well beyond the church. He is also the lead creator of Face the Fear, a multimedia project built to help people meet anxiety with faith and courage.

On The Clash, that same instinct shows up as a willingness to build bridges rather than walls — and to keep the conversation about culture, faith and media genuinely open.

Chris Whaley

Cohost

Chris Whaley

Pastor, author, and former professional wrestler

Chris went from the wrestling ring to the pulpit, and then from both to the big screen. He spent a decade as a professional wrestler, facing four world champions along the way — including The Undertaker — before moving into full-time ministry, where he has now pastored for more than 35 years.

He has written three books. One of them, The Masked Saint, tells his own story: a professional wrestler who answered a higher calling. It was adapted into an award-winning feature film and carried his story to audiences worldwide.

He counts none of that as the headline. He has been married to his wife for 51 years, and they have six grandchildren. His account of his own life is about transformation, perseverance and second chances — and about what happens when you step into the unknown and follow where God leads.
